Gather around friends and hear a tale of three guys who dubbed themselves Tex, Doc, and Jeice, and how they stumbled into the world of online comics. Let's take a trip back to the year 1993, with the first doodling of a comic by a young artist named Tex. This wasn't any ordinary comic.. Oh no, it was the strangest, most confusing thing you'd ever lay your eyes on. It featured himself and his friends going on grand adventures which involved most or all of them getting maimed and completely humiliated by the end of the story. Throughout high school, these comics went through various style and personnel changes. Later, during the late 90's, Tex embarked on an epic story with his comics, giving them a continuing story-line and each character their own identity. However, due to a growing interest in video production, his comics were put on the backburner.

A few intentionally bad ninja movies later, in 2001, Tex caught himself drawing again, and suddenly he was inspired to finish the comics he had abandoned all those years ago. After updating the characters and drawing style, he set to work, pumping out page after page of exciting, thrilling, edge of your seat action. Finally readers could follow the story, and he found Doc and Jeice anxiously awaiting the newest page. He finished just in time for college, where he still managed to work on the comics in between learning and achieving a diploma in video production.

During his studies, Tex took a class on webpage design, and when instructed to create a website on something of interest, he opted to base it on his timeless comic strip, which by now had been dubbed Comic Adventure. By this time, Jeice had climbed aboard and the two of them continued to flesh out the characters as they wrote biographies and story plot ideas.

Now the Tex and Jeice duo were in full creative mode, spending countless nights in Tex’s basement where they worked on ideas, played video games, and ate too much pizza. All the while, with Doc coming in and giving positive feedback on the ideas. (He kept his opinions on video-games and pizza to himself). Over next few years they developed countless story-lines, not just for Comic Adventure, but many others as well. Some ideas were about dark disturbed Super Heroes, others involved Bounty Hunters, and even a few space exploring cowboys were in the mix.

Finally one boring Friday night, Tex, Jeice and Doc were cruising along, trying to find something to do, when the subject of Comic Adventure arose once again. It took some convincing, but Doc and Jeice finally convinced Tex to take his comics worldwide. Having such a wealth of ideas and story lines between the three of them, they figured that an official website would be the best medium for their stories. After much planning, drawing, arguing and nearly killing each other, Hazardcomics.com was born! With this page, they now have an outlet and an audience for their as of yet untold stories. As for the future for these boys, it’s only onward and upward…
